Meet our Founders
Pastor James Watterman
Pastor James was Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. He is the proud father of three children and three grandchildren. Pastor James started assisting in ministry in the early 70's. Taking to the streets of New York City at Bible Crusade Church he was faithful, dedicated & determined to win souls for Christ. With a passion for more and a desire to expand his reach he connected himself with the Cathedral International in Perth Amboy, NJ where he served in the Prison Ministry and alongside his wife leading the marriage ministry in the 90's. While assisting in various adjunct capacities and accepting the call to serve in a greater measure Pastor James and his wife launched Continuous Flow Christian Center in 1996. Since then Pastor James has counseled the masses,volunteered at Rahway State Prison for over 20 years & Clinton State Prison for over 8 years. He is also a member of the NAACP and delivers life changing words for all who attend his weekly services.
Pastor Joyce Watterman
Joyce E. Watterman, was born. raised & educated in Jersey City, NJ.
She graduated from William L. Dickinson High School and worked at the former Family Health Center for 13 years. Joyce is married over 40 years, the mother of three and a loving grandmother.
Joyce attender Somerset Christian College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership and an Associates of Arts in Biblical Studies. She later obtained a Master of Arts degree in Ministry in Leadership from Pillar College. Joyce is the founder of the H.O.P.E. Summer program for children, which provides a safe, caring and educational environment. She is the founder of Women Working Together for change; a program that empowers women physically, emotionally, economically and politically. Joyce has been a volunteer chaplain for over 30 years at Eastern State Prison and 8 years at Clinton State Prison.
Joyce and her husband are the founder and Pastors of Continuous Flow Christian Center, where they bring Life changing words of strength for today and hope for tomorrow.
Joyce currently serves as the first African-American woman Council President for the City of Jersey City. She serves as a Planning Commissioner, Chairs the Disabling Parking Committee, serves as a member of the Affordable Housing Trust Funds, the Budget Committee, Dissolution of Parking Authority, the Exchange Place SID, Chairs the Street Naming and Renaming Committee, Chaplain for the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department, member of NAACP, Co Chairperson of the Inclusionary Advisory Board, she is the former President of the Women Political Caucus of Hudson County and, overseers the Ad Hoc Committee to review the Jersey City Police Department’s policies and procedures on enforcement and discrimination.
